About
The Program
The
goal of the South Jersey Young Guns program is to expose Southern NJ
baseball players to a significantly higher level of baseball than can be found
anywhere else in the area. The program prepares players for those baseball
opportunities, through hard work and dedication and using proven training
techniques as taught by Coach Fish. The goal of this program is for the
players to eventually excel at the middle and high school levels, which then
prepares them for playing baseball at the collegiate level. A strong emphasis
is placed on school work and grades. In order to succeed in baseball at the
collegiate level high grades are demanded.
As
a Young Gun, the player will develop his baseball skills, leadership,
integrity, and a commitment to excellence. The standard will be set high and
the players will develop a greater sense of commitment. Coach Fish will
prepare each athlete to handle high pressure situations. Young Guns are given
the opportunity to learn how to win or lose while playing at the highest level
of competition. Remember, it is far better
to try and fail than not to try at all.
Young
Gun players are motivated and encouraged to strive for great things.
Regardless of what level of baseball each player reaches, the Young Guns
program will make each of them more confident and self assured. As the program
is expanding, we are looking for players and coaches who bring a passion for
the game and a willingness to work hard.
